Lloyd's have announced that the Lloyd's Building will be closed from 4.00pm 19 March. In recent days insurers have been triggering their Business Continuity Plans ('BCP') which rely heavily on home working. Therefore, and in line with UK Government advice to avoid all non-essential contact, we are now working primarily from home.
NPP's systems are fully cloud based and we are able to access all our systems remotely. We expect that communication with our trading partners should not be materially impaired.
Lloyd's has an Emergency Trading Protocol which, for information, can be found on the lloyds.com website. We will trade with Lloyd's per that Protocol.
Given the situation, we would recommend that, wherever possible, requests which require underwriter involvement are sent to us as soon as possible to try an avoid urgent situations developing
